About

The festival

Paris, Barcelona, Vienna and, since 2026, Rome too. Roma Django Festival is the first international festival in Italy entirely dedicated to Jazz Manouche, the music born from the genius of Django Reinhardt, who recorded some of his most celebrated sessions right here in Rome, between 1949 and 1950.

The first edition took place from 26 August to 2 September 2026 at Villa Celimontana, with four free-entry evenings, alongside the Fuori Festival events at other venues around Rome. The festival is created by the non-profit CorDe Roma APS, with artistic direction by Lorenzo Guidi and Daniele Corvasce, under the patronage of the Institut français Italia.

CorDe Roma APS is a non-profit association duly registered in RUNTS, the Italian national register of Third Sector organisations.
